Paragon PBP1557 Rear Brake Pads for Civic Type R and Integra Type S

Upgrade rear braking performance with Paragon PBP1557 brake pads for the Honda Civic Type R FK8, Civic Type R FL5, Acura Integra Type S DE5, and compatible 10th-generation Honda Civic models.

Manufactured in Japan by Winmax for Paragon Performance, these direct-replacement rear brake pads are available in four compounds covering comfortable street use, spirited driving, light track duty, and dedicated competition applications.

Street and Track Use Notice

Choose the compound according to the vehicle’s actual use:

  • P2: Daily street driving
  • P3: Spirited street, autocross, and occasional track use
  • R5: Dedicated track use
  • R7: High-friction competition and advanced track use

R5 and R7 pads may produce substantially more noise and brake dust than street compounds. They may also cause increased pad or rotor wear during low-temperature street driving because they are designed to operate at elevated temperatures.

Installation and Bedding

Brake pads are safety-critical components. Installation should be completed by a qualified technician.

During installation:

  • Inspect the rear rotors for wear or damage
  • Check caliper operation and slide hardware
  • Inspect the brake fluid
  • Install compatible shims or hardware where required
  • Follow Paragon’s bedding procedure for the selected compound
  • Confirm proper brake operation before normal driving
