HPS Performance Air Intake Kit for Civic Type R FL5 & Integra Type S

Improve airflow, throttle response, turbo spool, and induction sound with the HPS Performance 827 Series air intake kit for the Honda Civic Type R FL5 and Acura Integra Type S DE5.

The 827-741BL replaces the factory intake assembly with a blue 3.5-inch mandrel-bent aluminum intake tube, washable high-flow cotton air filter, and heavy-duty powder-coated steel heat shield. HPS reports dyno-tested gains of up to 13.9 horsepower and 16.2 lb-ft of torque at 4,500 rpm.

3.5-Inch Mandrel-Bent Aluminum Intake Tube

The factory intake tubing is replaced by a large 3.5-inch aluminum tube designed to improve airflow into the turbocharged 2.0L engine.

Mandrel-bent construction helps maintain a consistent internal diameter through the bends, reducing unnecessary restriction. The blue finish also adds a distinctive performance appearance to the engine bay.

Washable High-Flow Air Filter

The included HPS cotton air filter is washable and reusable for long-term service.

Heavy-Duty Heat Shield

The powder-coated steel heat shield helps separate the filter from radiant engine-bay heat while directing incoming air toward the filter.

The open performance design also allows more turbo-spool and induction sound to be heard during acceleration.
