This polished intake replaces the restrictive factory airbox and intake tubing with a 3.25-inch mandrel-bent aluminum intake tube, reusable high-flow cotton air filter, and insulated steel heat shield.

HPS reports dyno-tested gains of up to 5.4 wheel horsepower and 10.9 lb-ft of torque. The open-element design also increases turbo and induction sound under acceleration while retaining a vehicle-specific heat shield to help manage incoming-air temperatures.

3.25-Inch Mandrel-Bent Aluminum Intake Tube

The factory intake is replaced by a polished 3.25-inch aluminum tube designed to provide a smoother airflow path to the turbocharged engine.

The mandrel-bent construction helps maintain the tube’s internal diameter through each bend, supporting consistent airflow while adding a clean polished appearance to the engine bay.

Reusable High-Flow Air Filter

The included HPS cotton air filter is washable and reusable, eliminating the need to replace a disposable factory-style filter during normal service intervals.

Its open-element design provides increased induction sound during acceleration and allows the turbocharged 2.0L engine to be heard more clearly under load.

Insulated Steel Heat Shield

A powder-coated steel heat shield separates the filter from radiant engine-bay heat and directs incoming airflow toward the filter.

The patterned heat-shield design also allows additional induction sound to escape under acceleration while continuing to shield the filter from nearby heat sources.
