TEIN Error Canceller Kit – Civic Type R FK8/FL5 & Integra Type S | SPS12-R1400

The TEIN SPS12-R1400 Error Canceller Kit is designed for Honda and Acura applications equipped with factory electronically controlled adaptive dampers.

When the factory shocks or struts are replaced with aftermarket coilovers or non-electronic dampers, the vehicle can detect that the original adaptive dampers are no longer connected and trigger a suspension warning on the dashboard.

The TEIN Error Canceller Kit connects to the factory suspension harness to prevent these adaptive-damper warning messages when using compatible aftermarket suspension components.

The Civic Type R uses electronically controlled dampers as part of its adaptive suspension system.

Replacing those factory dampers with conventional coilovers or aftermarket shocks can leave the original electrical connectors disconnected, which may cause the vehicle to display an adaptive-suspension warning.

The SPS12-R1400 provides the appropriate electrical load at the factory damper connectors so the vehicle does not continuously report that the original dampers are missing.

This kit does not add electronic damping control to aftermarket coilovers.
