This polished intake replaces the restrictive factory intake assembly with a 3.25-inch mandrel-bent aluminum intake tube, reusable high-flow cotton air filter, and powder-coated steel heat shield. HPS reports dyno-proven gains of up to 9 wheel horsepower and 9 lb-ft of torque.

3.25-Inch Mandrel-Bent Aluminum Intake Tube

The factory intake is replaced with a lightweight 3.25-inch aluminum intake tube designed to improve air delivery to the turbocharged engine.

Mandrel bending helps maintain a consistent internal diameter through the bends for smoother airflow, while the polished finish gives the engine bay a clean performance appearance.

Reusable High-Flow Air Filter

The kit includes an HPS washable and reusable high-flow cotton air filter in place of the factory filter and airbox.

HPS-4302 is the replacement filter for this system.

Powder-Coated Steel Heat Shield

A heavy-duty powder-coated steel heat shield helps direct fresh air toward the filter while separating it from radiant engine-bay heat.

Its patterned construction also allows more turbo spool and induction sound to be heard during acceleration without eliminating the heat-shielding function.
