3.25-Inch Aluminum Intake Tube

The HPS intake replaces the factory intake tube with a lightweight 3.25-inch mandrel-bent aluminum tube. Mandrel bending helps maintain a consistent internal opening through each bend for smoother airflow into the turbocharged engine.

The black finish provides a subtle performance appearance that blends well with the RDX engine bay.

Reusable High-Flow Air Filter

The included high-flow cotton filter is washable and reusable, allowing it to be serviced instead of replaced like a disposable paper filter.

HPS lists replacement filter HPS-4302 for this intake system.

Enclosed Heat Shield

The powder-coated steel heat shield helps separate the air filter from hot engine-bay air while directing incoming airflow toward the filter.

Its patterned design also allows more turbo and induction sound to be heard during acceleration without eliminating the heat-shielding function.

Durable Installation Components

The intake kit includes high-temperature reinforced silicone couplers and stainless-steel embossed clamps for secure connections under normal street and performance use.
