No ECU calibration is required.

PRL states the V2 intake fits the factory turbocharger inlet pipe. Customers using a PRL upgraded turbo inlet pipe need the appropriate Turbocharger Inlet Intake Conversion Hose.

4-Inch High-Flow Intake Design

The PRL HVI V2 uses a large 4-inch cone air filter designed to support substantially more airflow than the factory intake system.

The filter connects to a billet two-piece MAF housing incorporating a velocity stack, allowing the system to increase airflow while maintaining proper fuel trims.

One of the key components of the PRL High Volume Intake is its billet two-piece MAF housing.

The integrated velocity stack is designed to provide a smoother transition into the intake tract while maintaining appropriate airflow characteristics around the factory MAF sensor.

This allows the system to operate without requiring an ECU calibration on otherwise compatible applications. PRL explicitly states no ECU calibration is required.

Rotomolded HDPE Air Box

The intake uses a vehicle-specific HDPE rotomolded air box designed around the Accord engine bay.

Rather than eliminating the factory fresh-air path, the PRL air box utilizes the original air duct. The factory duct seals against PRL's integrated air-box scoop to help improve incoming airflow while reducing heat soak from the engine compartment.

4-Ply Silicone Intake Hose

PRL includes a custom molded 4-ply silicone intake hose with receiving grooves that help securely locate the intake components without unnecessarily protruding into the airflow path.

This V2 configuration is designed to connect directly to the factory turbocharger inlet pipe.

No ECU Calibration Required

No ECU calibration is required for installation.

PRL designed the MAF housing and airflow characteristics so the system can maintain appropriate fuel trims on compatible 2018–2022 Accord 2.0T applications.

A custom calibration may still be beneficial on more extensively modified vehicles, but PRL does not require tuning simply to install the High Volume Intake.

Turbo Inlet Compatibility

The standard V2 HVI is designed to connect to the factory Accord 2.0T turbocharger inlet pipe.

If the vehicle is equipped with the PRL Titanium Turbo Inlet Pipe Kit, the separate V2-compatible Turbo Inlet Intake Conversion Hose is required.

Installation
